Conseil des Innus de Ekuanitshit

The Council table plays the role of representative of the Ekuanitshit community, administers its affairs, adopts the budgets and votes the credits necessary for the general administration of the band. Since its creation in 1963, the Innu Council of Ekuanitshit has made it its duty to offer quality services that meet the needs of its members and to respect the obligations assigned to it in relation to the community. Having at heart the concern to defend the rights and interests of the Ekuanitshinnuat, its actions are concretized by the adoption of regulations and resolutions held at regular meetings of the Council.
