Inner City Health Associates (ICHA)

ICHA's mandate is to serve people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. They work in a large number of sites including shelters, drop-in centres, and mobile teams and see a wide variety of individuals from site to site. They address acute mental health concerns while also addressing preventive care. Their ICHA courses and medical education for homelessness are for medical students and practitioners arranged through the University of Toronto. For students, these courses count as an elective for their medical practicum.
