Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women (IAAW)

The Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women (IAAW) is a non-profit organization that recognizes the role, value, and achievement of Indigenous women in society and raises awareness about the challenges and obstacles they face. IAAW is based in Edmonton and operates in chapters across Alberta. The programs and services include: Financial Literacy, Youth Leadership, Esquao Program, Justice Initiatives, Safety in the City, and Violence Prevention.
