Global Compact Network Canada (GCNC)

Global Compact Network Canada (GCNC) is a self-governing entity working closely with the Global Compact Office (GCO) in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding. GCNC functions as an extension of the UN Global Compact and is dedicated to assisting Canadian organizations with the advancement of the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They are involved in Awareness Raising by helping business understand SDG risks and opportunities, Capacity Building by mainstreaming a principle-based approach to the SDGs, Leadership by providing inspiration through good business practices, Policy Dialogue by engaging responsible business on national SDG action plans and policies, and Partnership by facilitating collaboration and collective action. They offer Anti-corruption Certificate Program and Webinar sessions on Business matters.
