Arts, culture and heritage represent more than $57 billion in the Canadian economy and close to 673,000 jobs in sectors such as film and video, broadcasting, music, publishing, archives, performing arts, heritage institutions, festivals and celebrations. They have funding programs that support culture, history, heritage, sport and official languages. They offer information on Landmarks and attractions in Canada's Capital, the languages of Canada, the creation of Canada, the anthem, human rights, sports. They also are in charge of museums & galleries, offer financial assistance through the Museums Assistance Program and other funding programs that provide support to heritage institutions and collections. In addition, youth internships, jobs, exchange programs and immersion programs.
