Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC)

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) is a crown corporation and economic development agency that supports the development of Northern Ontario businesses offering small business grants, conditionally repayable loans, incentive term loans and loan guarantees to attract investment and innovation. NOHFC has four main programs, the community enhancement program is designed to help build strong and resilient Northern communities; the cultural supports program is designed to help showcase Northern Ontario culture, geography and talent; the invest north program is designed to boost economic growth; the people & talent program is designed to attract, retain and develop Northern Ontario’s workforce.
