Institute for Performance and Learning

The Institute for Performance and Learning (I4PL) is a Canadian not-for-profit organization for workplace learning and performance professionals. It formerly operated as the Canadian Society for Training and Development (CSTD) and provides professional development, sets industry standards through frameworks like the Training Competency Architecture (TCA), and offers professional designations such as the Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP). The I4PL supports its members through resources, a national network of chapters, and events to help elevate the performance of the Canadian workforce.
