Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC)

ESDC is the department of the Government of Canada responsible for developing, managing and delivering social programs and services. ESDC's mission is to build a stronger and more competitive Canada, to support Canadians in making choices that help them live productive and rewarding lives, and to improve Canadians' quality of life. ESDC works to improve the standard of living and quality of life for all Canadians. They do this by promoting a labour force that is highly skilled, efficient and inclusive labour market. ESDC offers services like Employment Insurance, Find a Job, Housing Benefits, Disability benefits, Hire a temporary foreign worker, Training, Education and Funding. They provide several trainings like Apprenticeship training, Adult learning, Organizational learning, Health and Safety and other mentoring and coaching services.
