Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC
About
The Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC (ANHBC) is the network of eight neighbourhood houses and an outdoor centre, through which they operate more than 300 community-based programs and services for a diversity of participants. They offer after school programs, workshops and meet-ups for pre- teens and youth, aged 10- 24. Neighbourhood houses also offer programs designed to help newcomers to successfully navigate the stages towards citizenship, make connections within the community and have access to resources. Services for newcomers are offered in multiple languages and range from counselling, community events, to skill building workshops.
