Canadian Association of Black Journalists (CABJ)

The CABJ strives to advance the work of Black journalists and media professionals in Canada. The CABJ works towards advocating for diversity in Canadian media; raising up a new generation of Black journalists and content creators; and offering hands-on workshops and other diverse professional development opportunities to Black journalists and content creators. They offer several programs, including the CABJ Media Startup Bootcamp: a three-week, choose-your-own-path Bootcamp, Black journalists, editors and content creators will be given the resources to bolster or start up their own digital media publications.
