Association des femmes immigrantes de l'Outaouais (AFIO)

Founded in 1984, Support for Immigrant Women of Outaouais (AFIO-is a regional non-profit community organization that works for the full integration of immigrant women and their families, as well as the development of their autonomy. Our mission is to promote the social, cultural and economic integration of immigrant women and their families in the Outaouais region. AFIO pursues these goals by promoting the economic and social autonomy and engagement of immigrant women in the host society by breaking the isolation of immigrant women and strengthening their civic participation in community life.
