Digital Governance Council
About
The Digital Governance Council (DGC) is a Canadian, not-for-profit, member-driven organization that promotes responsible digital governance by developing and certifying digital technology standards. It acts as a neutral convener for Canadian executives to discuss and act on digital challenges, leads the Digital Governance Standards Institute (DGSI) to create national standards for areas like cybersecurity and data privacy, and provides a Digital Trust Conformity Assessment program to verify organizations' compliance with these standards. Its overall goal is to build trust and confidence in Canada's digital economy and infrastructure.
