Medicine Hat Local Immigrant Partnership

The Medicine Hat Local Immigration Partnership is a collaborative community initiative dedicated to improving integration and retention of newcomers. MHLIP seeks to engage stakeholders including employers, agencies, community, and immigrants themselves to act as an incubator for ideas, measure trends, identify needs, and mobilize appropriate community resources to meet those needs. The goals are: Increase Community Participation in Newcomer Integration; Build a Community That Attracts and Retains Newcomers; Conduct Community-Based Research and Planning; Celebrate Newcomers and Their Contributions to Our Community.
