Lucky Fish Iron is a Canadian social enterprise dedicated to helping people all over the world consume iron more easily. Born out of a doctorate research from a Canadian university, the product went through many iterations before being finalized as a 'Fish'. It is made out of iron and is cooked for a short time with food to provide the necessary daily intake of iron. The host an Impact Fund and a portion of the proceeds support this initiative. It provides men and women with training opportunities to address iron deficiency in their communities. This includes training, shipment and impact measurement to help organizations distribute Fish to families in need and help reduce the impacts of iron deficiency.
