Sistering

Sistering is a multi-service agency that supports at-risk, socially isolated women and trans people in Toronto who are homeless or precariously housed. They provide several programs including: On The Path to Employment program which prepares women to enter/re-enter the workforce and teaches job readiness skills, and support to develop micro-enterprises; provides advocacy for marginalized and trans women; and runs Spun Studio - a textile studio which provides women with alternative employment and job skills.
