Great Lakes Networking Society of BC

Our work connects Canada and Africa through peacebuilding, human rights advocacy, and sustainable community development. We support African-led peace operations, grassroots conflict-prevention initiatives, and the leadership of women and youth in building lasting peace. At the same time, we address root causes of instability, poverty, food insecurity, exclusion, and environmental degradation, through sustainable agriculture, clean energy collaboration, digital inclusion and STEM education for youth, and infrastructure development. We believe that peace cannot exist without justice, and development cannot last without sustainability.
