About
HARS (HIV/AIDS Regional Services) provides education and support to individuals and organizations in Kingston and SEern Ontario. HARS (HIV/AIDS Regional Services) provides comprehensive services including education, prevention, and support for people living with, at risk of, or affected by HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted bloodborne infections (STBBIs), in addition to advocating for broader social change to reduce stigma and discrimination. As well, the Needle Exchange program is a confidential, non-judgmental service that provides all supplies are free of charge and they have programming geared to specific groups of people, some of which are recognized by the Ontario HIV/AIDS Strategy as populations most affected by HIV. Lastly, they offer to enrich and learning opportunities for students who wish to gain hands-on experience and for a future career in the social service sector.
