Volunteer West Island

Volunteer West Island facilitates volunteerism by recruiting, training and referring volunteers within the Montreal West Island community. In addition, to assist seniors to remain autonomous and break their isolation by developing and implementing social programs. Their services include hot meals, frozen meals, handy person, income tax assistance, and animal therapy. VWI offers free courses to their volunteer advocates who work with protégés. These courses are also open to the broader community.
