Kwanlin Dün First Nation

The Kwanlin Dün First Nation is focused on building internal capacity to manage the challenges and opportunities created through the Final and Self-Government Agreements. Along with the same rights and responsibilities as other Yukon First Nations, Kwanlin Dün First Nation secured special provisions such as major landholdings within the City of Whitehorse and support for completing the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre. On top of working to implement these self-government agreements, the council offers its members several skills development, training, networking, mentoring, and opportunities to receive the tools and resources needed to further their businesses. The employment services office offers employment opportunities to all people, with preference to KDFN citizens and community members.
