Ottawa Independent Living Resource Centre

The mission of the Ottawa Independent Living Resource Centre (OILRC) is to assist in the individual empowerment of all persons with any disability in the Ottawa area and to provide the tools they need to direct their lives and participate fully in the community. OILRC’s major programs include: Information and Referral services, Peer Support, Research and Service Development, Individual Empowerment & Skills Development – One-on-one and/or group support for day to day issues, Direct Funding – Attendant Services for people with disabilities, and Healthy Living – Choosing a healthier life style.
