Community Living - West Northumberland

Community Living provides services to people aged six and up who have a disability. They provide youth recreation programs, employment aide services, workshops and developmental support for those that have disabilities. The Employment Readiness program assists people in developing job skills based on individual employment goals, through vocational and volunteer opportunities. The program also assists individuals to find meaningful ways to make a contribution and/or to earn money. They offer workshops to teach specialized skills in a group model for a specific time period. The goal is to offer individuals an opportunity for group work and interaction in order to learn specific skills.
