Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC)

Founded in 1969, the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi is part of Canada's largest university network, that of the Université du Québec. It is located in the heart of Saguenay−Lac-Saint-Jean, a French-speaking region recognized for the beauty of its fjord, and has a Centre d'études universitaires in Sept-Îles and a École du numérique in Montreal. With the success of its more than 70,000 graduates, UQAC welcomes more than 6,500 students each year, more than 2,000 of whom come from about fifty countries around the world.
