John Howard Society of Canada

The John Howard Society of Canada provides programs and services that help people affected by the justice system develop key life skills, navigate issues of criminal justice, and build productive futures after incarceration. They have brances in more than 60 communities across Canada that provide evidence-based programs and services focused on prevention, intervention and re-integration across the province. They fill an important role in public eduation, community service and advocating for reform in the criminal justice arena. These range from helping youth develop the life skills that will let them achieve their full potential, to helping families navigate issues of criminal justice, to providing job training for those leaving incarceration so they can contribute to their community in a meaningful way.
