Tourism HR Canada is a national organization working with stakeholders to identify and address labour market issues in the Canadian tourism sector. They facilitate, coordinate, and enable human resources development activities that support a globally competitive and sustainable industry and foster the development of a dynamic and resilient workforce. The organization provides skills training, accreditation programs and travel tourism education. They offer learning and mentorship opportunities to racialized individuals, and work placement programs for post-secondary students. With close to 30 years' experience in developing and delivering world-class competency standards, training, certification, and groundbreaking labour market information, Tourism HR Canada continues to be the vanguard of the development of human resource tools for tourism and other service industries. Tourism HR Canada is a non-profit organization recognized by the Government of Canada as an exemplary skills sector body renowned for its ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
