Toronto South Local Immigration Partnership
About
The Toronto South Local Immigration Partnership (TSLIP) is a community collaboration bringing together stakeholders located in Toronto South to develop local settlement strategies that coordinate and enhance service delivery to newcomers while promoting innovation and efficient use of resources. They have different groups such as Employment Working Group, Health and Mental Health, Newcomer Council etc. The Employment Working Group focuses on systemic issues and barriers which prevent newcomers from working in their desired professions and/or in meaningful employment. They also organize capacity building workshop/webinar to support sector transition to hybrid models of service delivery, and creating a repository of online Professional Development Trainings/Webinars for TSLIP partners, including written and recorded translated walk-throughs to support newcomer users with web portal access.
