Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon (TIA Yukon)

TIA Yukon is the voice of Yukon's tourism industry and advocates for the development of tourism in Yukon. They offer the Yukon Tourism Training Fund which provides tourism training that is responsive to industry and employee training needs. The fund contributes to achieving a more qualified Yukon tourism labour market that can support an increasingly competitive industry. The program includes language courses, a First Nation 101 course, financial literacy, marketing and guide training. The Yukon Elevate Tourism Program (Elevate) provides an opportunity for the Yukon’s tourism industry to contribute to a rethinking, restructuring, and rebuilding of tourism in the territory so that the industry can be more progressive, impactful, and sustainable.
