Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)

The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) is a polytechnic and applied sciences institute. NAIT provides careers programs in applied research, technical training, applied education, and learning designed to meet the demands of Alberta's technical and knowledge-based industries. NAIT students earn degrees, diplomas and certificates focused on the career fields of business, IT, engineering technologies, health sciences, culinary arts and environmental management. In addition, NAIT offers apprenticeship training for skilled trades. They focus on experiential learning and have a technology focus in teaching and business and offer credit programs, reskilling and upskilling initiatives, host an Indigenous Centre, and applied research opportunities. The Productivity and Innovation Centre includes advanced manufacturing labs, acceleration spaces for small and medium-sized businesses and a dedicated hub for applied research activity.
