About

The Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship at Brown University supports entrepreneurs who are creating solutions with impact. It is a community of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members who are devoted to teaching, learning, and using entrepreneurship as a problem solving discipline. Launched in 2016, and housed at the heart of campus, it offers courses, co-curricular programming, and venture support resources to both undergraduate and graduate students. With centuries of innovative research, teaching, and learning, Brown has always been fertile ground for entrepreneurial thinking. Whether in the classroom through the open curriculum, or through a wide range of co-curricular activities, Brown students have long pursued ambitious solutions to challenging problems. The excitement that infuses all of this activity is one of collaboration, critical problem solving, and a commitment to interdisciplinary and creative thinking. In short, this is entrepreneurship that is distinctly Brown.
