Action Against Hunger Canada
About
Action Against Hunger Canada is an international humanitarian organization that fights hunger. They collect donations to eradicate malnutrition through the services of public awareness, and recruitment of committed Canadian experts who work alongside communities to save lives and develop sustainable solutions and foster a better understanding of hunger in malnourished communities and the best ways to support them. As part of the ACT-Femmes project, funded by the Government of Canada, a 6-day workshop was hosted to help build the capacity of health workers in 15 health facilities in the Tchologo region of northern Côte d’Ivoire. The Tchologo Women/Adolescent Girls Empowerment Project (ACT-Femmes) is a 5-year initiative that aims to empower and improve the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and maternal and child health (MCH) of women and adolescent girls in the project area.
