Manitoba Metis Federation's (MMF-Metis Employment & Training Department (MET)

The Manitoba Metis Federation (MMF-is the National Government of the Red River Métis. The Federation is proud and active in educating all Manitobans and promoting pride in Métis heritage, respect for their existence as a distinct people, and resistance to the cultural assimilation of their members. Through the ISETS (Indigenous Skills and Employment Training-Agreement with Canada, the MMF is able to design employment and skills training programs & services that best serve the needs of Metis community and Metis citizens. These programs aim to enable unemployed or underemployed Metis clients to better engage in the workforce, and therefore improve quality of life for them and their families.
