Femme Nekan provides Indigenous women on the North Shore a tailor-made support service for their business project. These businesses are created by Innu women in the eight Innu communities of the North Shore, with Innu women sitting on decision-making bodies in all communities. The organization also seeks to promote alliances between Indigenous and non-Indigenous partners highlighting the economic and social contribution of Innu women.
