Canadian Coast Guard

The Canadian Coast Guard owns and operates the federal government's civilian fleet and provides key maritime services to Canadians. As a special operating agency of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, it is resonsible for providing aids to navigation, channel maintenance, marine search and rescue, ice-management service, marine communications. The CCG operaties the Canadian Coast Guard College and specialized marine courses.
