GESIS - Leibniz Institute for Social Sciences is the largest German infrastructure facility for the social sciences. GESIS supports researchers in all five phases of the research data cycle: preliminary research, planning studies, collecting data, analyzing data, archiving and registration. GESIS works internationally with OECD and participating countries operating the PIAAC (adult competencies) project - among others.
