Alexandra Neighbourhood House

Alexandra Neighbourhood House is a non-profit organization that serves youth, families, 2SLGBTQ+, newcomers and seniors. Alexandra Neighbourhood House offers programs and supports that encourage interpersonal enrichment and teach the community through social events, camps, workshops, and child care. They offer English Conversation Circle for newcomers that are looking to expand their spoken vocabulary and build multicultural competency. Specific youth programs offered include the Youth and Family Centre, a Reconnect program, a youth space, and a Counsellor-in-Training program. Alexandra Neighbourhood House's youth programs champion strength development, connection and leadership skills. Their Reconnect Youth Program offers one-to-one, outreach and group support to youth ages 13-18. They work with youth to develop their strengths, overcome challenges and connect with community. They also provide one-to-one parent support and education for families and caregivers.
