Centre d'Encadrement pour Jeunes Femmes Immigrantes (CEJFI)

Le CEJFI est fondé en 1998 par un groupe de femmes pour promouvoir l’épanouissement des filles et jeunes femmes immigrantes, en ralliant les divers organismes publics, parapublics, privés et communautaires autour des réalités touchant les jeunes femmes et les femmes immigrantes. La mission du CEJFI est d’œuvrer à l’intégration sociale, économique, culturelle et civique des jeunes femmes immigrantes de 12 à 35 ans, en favorisant une approche interculturelle et en visant la défense de leurs droits.The CEJFI is a centre that aims to accelerate the integration of immigrant women into Quebec society. Their programs are consistent with the various public policy action plans at the municipal, provincial and federal levels. The centre offers a combination of projects specially adapted to the needs of young immigrant women in Quebec and their families. These projects are access to education, training, fight against violence against women, and promotion of women's health.
