Professional Development Centre for Indigenous Policing (PDCIP)

The Professional Development Centre for Indigenous Policing (PDCIP) provides advanced training to police officers working in Indigenous communities. These officers operate in rural and remote locations and often assume leadership roles. They need the training to respond to the legal, emotional and cultural aspects of policing. The intensive and interactive training helps students develop working relationships with colleagues from Indigenous communities across Canada.
