Gabriel Dumont Institute

The Gabriel Dumont Institute's mission is to promote the renewal and development of Métis culture through research; materials development, collection, and distribution; and the design, development, and delivery of Métis-specific educational programs and services. The Institute offers Basic Education and Essential Skills programs like Adult Basic Education, GED Distance Learning Program, and pathways for entrepreneurs, individual sponsorship programs, employment-based programs, and apprenticeship programs. The Gabriel Dumont Scholarship Foundation offers funding to Métis students.
