Appleby College's diverse range of required components in their curriculum provides students with stimulating challenges and the opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills and values. The College's curriculum focuses on: critical-thinking skills; individual potential; self-discipline, respect, responsibility and commitment; spiritual and moral development; democratic principles; personal fitness and health; environmental awareness and stewardship; the role of gender, ethnicity, race and culture in building rich, diverse communities; and student-centred experiences which create leadership opportunities. Appleby’s Summer Academy provides summer learning opportunities through Academic Credit Courses and Enrichment programs. Both streams are appropriate for students seeking either credit, advancement, or simply a fun and engaging learning experience. Their educational system is divided as follows: Middle School (Grade 7 & 8), Upper School (Grade 9 & 10), and Senior School (Grade 11 & 12). T
