Britannia Woods Community House

The Britannia Woods Community House opened in 1976 with the purpose of ensuring the families living in the Britannia Woods community had access to social, educational and recreational supports. Over the last 40 years, the Community House has been offering a wide range of programs and services that aim to improve the quality of life for Black, Racialized, newcomer and multicultural families and households living on a fixed or low income. Programs and services are delivered in a community-led, holistic approach, and include mental health services, sports programming and mentorship, and youth STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) clubs.
