John Howard Society of Prince Edward Island

The John Howard Society of P.E.I. , an affiliate of the John Howard Society of Canada, is a nonprofit organization with a great deal of support, effort and involvement by the Kiwanis Club of Charlottetown. Its purpose is to assist Islanders involved in the criminal justice process in the difficult transition from institutional to community living. They offer services in wraparound housing, employment assistance and home assistance. They assist at risk persons or persons who are involved in the criminal justice process by providing prevention, transitional and support services.
