OYA Emerging Filmmakers
About
OYA is an industry-led initiative supported by the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, and under the Black Youth Action Plan. The organization supports Black youth in the digital media, film and television industry by providing mentoring and networking opportunities as well as on-site training with film department heads. Participants must be between the ages of 18 to 26, living in the GTA and have graduated from a film, video or media arts program and demonstrate a serious interest in pursuing a career in the sector.
