College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA)

The College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA) is the regulatory body for Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) employed in Alberta. The CMLTA protects and serves the public interest by establishing and implementing standards for the MLT profession which include, but are not limited to: Entry-to-practice requirements, Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, Continuing Competence Program and Legislated processes through which concerns about MLTs are addressed
