The Burnaby Intercultural Planning Table (BIPT) helps immigrant and refugee service providers share resources and identify ways to better meet the needs of the City’s newcomers. The BIPT has successfully improved the comfort, health and standards of living of newcomers by bridging communities, decreasing competition amongst service providers, developing stronger resources and improving inter-agency cooperation and knowledge-sharing.
