St. Matthew's House

St. Matthew’s House is a place of hope that supports people in need. They offer Children services, Senior's support, Christmas "Adopt-a-Family" program, and Mental Health and Street outreach. Their The Street Outreach Team is a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency program that is centralized within the City of Hamilton’s Public Health, Mental Health and Street Outreach Service. Their Outreach Workers work with individuals who are experiencing homelessness and have barriers to obtaining housing and supports within the community. The Outreach team assists individuals in connecting to supports around health care, income, housing and other appropriate community support services. The Street Outreach worker provides a presence on the street, in shelters, and other community drop-ins and programs.
