Alternatives North is a social justice coalition operating in the NW Territories. The organization takes the grassroots approach to democratic change, and its alliance of interests provides a forum and a voice for issues analysis, popular action and social change. Alternatives North advocates for social/policy change in regards to the following topics: health and social issues; poverty; GNWT finances; mining, oil, and gas; regulatory affairs, climate change and public policy, and devolution.
