Mining Industry Human Resources Council (MiHR)

The Mining Industry Human Resources Council is the national council for the Canadian minerals and metals industry. MiHR was established to address the common human resources challenges of the Canadian mining industry. Key programs include: The Canadian Mining Certification Program (CMCP) and Mining Essentials: A work-readiness training program for Aboriginal Peoples. MiHR also publishes national labour market information reports.
