Resto Plateau

Acteur de l’économie sociale, Resto Plateau est un organisme à but non lucratif dont la mission est de favoriser l’autonomie, l’inclusion et l’accès à des ressources permettant de répondre à des besoins essentiels tels que la sécurité alimentaire, auprès de la communauté montréalaise et des environs. Through its integration business component, Resto Plateau offers work, vocational training and social support, with the aim of serving as a springboard to the job market and catering professions. Through its community component, Resto Plateau offers, in its restaurant, a place of nutritious meals at reduced prices. Resto Plateau also supports people in a situation of food insecurity or isolation by developing their food and social autonomy, in partnership with community stakeholders. They also offer a social integration program which is a paid catering training program. A paid professional and personal learning path, serving as a springboard towards the job market and catering professions. The objective is to support apprentice employees in their socio-professional development process by developing their skills such as stress management, teamwork and communication, among others.
