North Point Douglas Women’s Centre (NPDWC)

The North Point Douglas Project for Women is a centre that was developed as an empowerment project for women, it offers counseling services for women and their families, prayer and drumming circles as well as safety patrolling for communities. Offering two specialized programs, the Women's Warrior circle rooted in reclaiming traditional Indigenous teachings and practices, and the Red Road to Healing program for women who have experienced violence and are ready to move forward in their healing journey.
