Yukon Historical and Museums Association

The Yukon Historical and Museums Association is a registered charity providing programs and services that work to protect, conserve and celebrate Yukon's heritage including the Yukon Heritage Training Fund, Yukon/Stikine Regional Heritage Fair, training initiatives and forums, and the Yukon Heritage Awards. Their Yukon Heritage Training Fund (HTF) was designed to give Yukon residents the opportunity to increase their skills and knowledge in the heritage sector. All training approved through this fund must be directly related to increasing the employability of Yukon’s heritage workers and providing Yukon employers with a better-trained workforce. Their Yukon/Stikine Regional Heritage Fair annually brings together students in grades 4-9, teachers, parents, and mentors from around the Yukon to showcase quality research and presentations on a range of historical and heritage topics.
