The Oneida Nation of the Thames is a flourishing and sovereign independent Nation with its own traditional hereditary and contemporary systems of governance and law. The council offers a variety of skills training and development opportunities while facilitating access to the tools and resources that its members need to thrive. The Oneida Nation’s Ontario Works office provide’s assistance to Oneida Nation community members seeking Ontario Works program information and requirements which includes: Assessing eligibility, Assisting in preparation of applications, Creation of a participation agreement, Identifying financial benefits; and Providing family support services.
